In September 2025, Making Waves teamed up with the Great Salt Lake Hopeline and Hopi activist, Carl Moore, to bring the ecosystem of Great Salt Lake onstage at TEDx. Kestrel danced. Brine shrimp swirled. Blue heron stalked through blue rippling waves. Carl prayed and prayed for the Lake and all the species of this place as relatives. The song from that performance still gets stuck in our heads. This performance was a prayer. Great Salt Lake is calling out to all of us. Will you pick up? How will you answer?
